Hello, I'm Paul Newland.  Solvara is the name of my small photographic imaging company. 

In New York City I photograph headshots for performers and freelance assist for several Manhattan based catalog and editorial photographers.  I also shoot major fashion shows, small editorials and test shoots with agency models, as well as castings for fashion shows and fashion shoots.  I love working with people in New York because they bring considerable talent and enthusiasm to every photo shoot, as well as high expectations of the people who photograph for them.  And I like meeting, and especially exceeding, high expectations. 

In my little part of suburbia I mostly photograph individuals and those they love, from every days to special days: Portraits, Sweet 16s, Special Parties, Life's Milestones, etc.
